6688 2 Amperex USN 6688A aka E180F Vacuum Tubes Gold Pin Pentodes for Telefunken Line Amp Hickok TV-7D/U tests read 72 and 73. A reading of 50 is the minimum recommended. These tubes are from 1960 USA military production. They feature gray plates, square frame getters at the top and Gold Pins. They will ship with pin protectors. The 6688A (aka E180F) is a ruggedized broadband pentode and is rated for 10,000 hours of service. It is used by Telefunken in their V72A Microphone Preamp and V74 Line Amplifier.
