53 2 Sylvania USAF 6888 Vacuum Tubes 3-Mica Pentodes / 8-Watt 6SJ7 5693 Hickok TV-7D/U tests read 90 and 90. A reading of 60 is the minimum recommended. These Sylvania tubes are from the same 1962 USA military production. Many 6888 tubes went to surplus and were rebranded as 6SJ7GT for use in parallel wired circuits. They feature tall clear glass envelopes, black plates, copper grid pins, halo getters, a low-loss brown Micanol base and a third mica layer for enhanced quieting.
