Price is for a matched pair(2 matched tubes) for single ended KT88 amplifier. Unused New condition in the box. This model was sold for $200 per tube, $400 per pair in 2009-2012. It has amazing best sound ever for KT88 tube, however, some Korean KT88 pushpull amps were designed to run tubes too hot at 600V DC screen and 600V DC plate and at high plate current that exceeded KT88 power handling maximum limitation of 42w dissipation per tube, thus would shorten tube life span. This model utilized expensive material that became difficult to source after 2011. So the maker discontinued this model in favor for a new ST shaped KT88 design. I got a few pairs from that vintage and found it worked well in my single ended KT88 amp that works under 450V and lasted for longer than I expected. So I listed this spare unused new pair for here.
