Description

Up for sale here is this set of 4 used vintage Sylvania 6V6GT output tubes, with matching 1942 date codes. These are VERY early 6V6GTs, and are earlier than I have ever seen them. These have identical construction, with with smoked glass and black plates. Three of these test great and one tests weak and shows shorts/grid emissions, so think of it as a non-working free bonus. I tested these on my calibrated B&K 747B tube tester, and the good tubes tested at 63, 67, and 68, with no shorts or grid emission, on a scale of 0-120, where 65 is minimum good and most used 6V6s test in the 55-75 range. The bad tube tested at 36 and showed shorts and grid emissions. The other three are great, and will work well in your amplifier. Please see my pictures for details.
