Up for sale, a Bruno Underground 30 in excellent condition and in perfect working order, loaded with an enviable vintage tube set including RCA, Amperex and Telefunken valves. An amp that came to prominence 20 years ago via rave reviews in Guitar Player and Guitar World, the Underground 30 is a remarkable amp with superb clean and distortion voices, incredible dynamics, and rich complexity. Its clean voice has a silky chime that is deep and spacious. Crank it up, and the Underground 30 screams with big, mean and ballsy tone mixed with upper-end sparkle and singing sustain. An amp that responds equally well to humbuckers and single coils, the Underground 30 retains excellent touch sensitivity and note articulation, faithfully reproducing the best qualities of your favorite axe. In addition to the straightforward single channel design with intuitive Volume and EQ controls that have great range, the amp boasts Bruno's optional three knob Reverb circuit with knobs for Tone, Mix, and Dwell. This is a lush, spacious Reverb circuit, completely tube driven and a great pairing with the simple yet versatile nature of the amp. The Underground 30 features 36 watts of Class A power, and the tube complement includes a quartet of vintage matched RCA EL84s, an Amperex 5AR4/GZ34 rectifier, Amperex and Telefunken 12AX7s, and an RCA EL84 reverb driver. The 2x12 cabinet is loaded with a Celestion Blue and a Celestion Cream, two distinct voices of Celestion's classic alnico magnet driver, offering exquisite color, warmth, detailed expressiveness and exceptional musicality. The smooth black tolex is near mint, and the faceplate graphics are in great shape, save for a curious blacking-out of the "R" in Underground, complete with its full complement of chicken head knobs. This Bruno would look great in a studio and has just been gone through by our in-house techs to ensure turn-key performance. A slip cover is included.
