Up for your consideration is a very nice quad of Electro Harmonix EL34 6CA7 Tubes. The tubes were tested on a Maxi-Matcher with the results shown in the pics. The first 4 pics of the tubes being tested are of the bias reading for each tube, which had the plate voltage set to 400v, and the bias at -36mV, to emulate real world voltages. The next 4 pics are for the Transconductance (mMHos) readings. The chart for the readings are on the tester, also seen in the pics, which gives you the minimum acceptable reading for the various tubes for mMHos, as well as the expected bias range for the various tubes being tested. These tubes came in an amp I recently purchased, so I do not know their history, as such I'm listing them as "Used." They appear to me to have had very little use, if any at all. I use 6550's in my amps, but when I got the amp, I did try it out with the EL34's in it to see how it would sound, and I played the amp with these tubes for about 30 minutes. I'm not real experienced on the EL34 sound, since I've mostly used GE 6550's for years, but the amp sounded pretty darn good to my ears with these tubes in it, and much better than I thought it would. In fact, they have opened my ears, so to speak, about current production EL34 tubes. Which made me hesitant to let these go, actually. But, as the saying goes; "You can't teach and old dog new tricks" (bow-wow), I'm putting these up for sale to fund my next pair of GE's. I'm selling these tubes "As-Is" and I do not accept returns. I've described this listing to the best of my abilities, and have included many pictures for you to examine, and to see if these tubes are for you.
