Description
Up for sale here is this vintage Harman-Kardon Galaxy 150 (BA-150) tube amplifier. This is used with a fair amount of wear, but it's in nice solid shape with no major damage other than some missing metal on the bottom edge of the faceplate. This would make a killer "rat rod" amplifier, or you could just pull the transformers and pots and build your own amp. This is missing most of the knobs and all the tubes. Normal tube complement is four 8417s, a few 12AX7s and 12AU7s, a 6C4, and possibly a few others but I think that's it. I don't know if this is supposed to have a small speaker behind the grill, but that's not there either. This will probably need the usual rebuild, and it is completely untested. This would make a nice guitar amp. However, this amplifier will need to be rebuilt in order to work properly. It is sold as NON-WORKING, for rebuilding, and is NOT plug-and-play. Why buy an amp that someone else has messed with? Get this one and rebuild it yourself! Please see my pictures for details. US shipping and handling is $60, and international is $200. If you have any questions, please ask. I have more tube amplifiers and other vintage electronics listed--feel free to take a look!
