These are new Mallory 150 type MKT capacitors These are metalized polyester (mylar). Mallory was bought by CDE and they kept the film cap line (albeit moved it offshore). They are among the top choice of many guitar amp builders but also of builders of audiophile amps. Other cap contenders for are Sozo's, and while there are many that like those, I have seen too many bloggers saying they don't and on top of that they are significantly more expensive. Also, the consensus seems to be that they take 300+ hours to break in. I have read 150' sound goo out of the box. New builds with old vintage caps are unsustainable due to the fact that in time all those will disappear. History: The Mallory film cap line was purchased by Cornel-Dublier (CDE) some time ago.
