Here is a new gold matched pair of EL34, one EH one Sovtek. When you compare them they are identical in construction with same: color/size/style plates, halo getter, and copper grid posts - just a slight difference in the base height. Bought these 5 or 6 years ago when I had and was working on some EL34 hifi amps. I never did use them. Got an AT1000 tester recently and thought "how about other Marshall users, don't they want matched tubes at WORKING VOLTAGE?" Why sure we do, so I matched them at 500V dc on the plate as only the AT1000 tester is capable of. These 2 were the premium ones at 90 and 93% of design spec emission, high NOS readings for the stingy AT1000 for sure and a tight match.
