Description
NOTE, THIS LISTING IS FOR A PAIR (2 CHASSIS/BASEPLATES/CAGES). You are bidding on (2) NOS Sound Valves M60 Mono 60W Vacuum Tube Amplifier chassis sets (chassis and baseplate) along with "Ultra-Vent" perforated cages/covers. Also includes filler strips for the chassis: you'd use to fill the gap between the base and chassis if you were running these without the cages, technically you don't need the filler strips, but they do fill that small gap so aesthetically they look nicer. Finally, we also include NOS PC-2 power supply PC boards with only the IEC AC outlet and the fuse holder included so that everything lines up in the chassis for you and you'd don't have to try and figure out what to fill those chassis holes with... These are NOS, unused, however were sitting around a warehouse so chassis/bases have some dust dirt and might have a scratch here or there, but they are largely protected with the plastic film still intact for most areas (chassis and baseplates). These come from our purchase of the warehouse inventory of the Sound Values/Stereo Cost Cutters Inc. (SV/SCC) operation. Could also be used for a homebrew set of tube amps, a rebuild of M60's, or even possibly a cool custom rebuild of Dynaco MKII's/MKIII's. All holes are punched along with pemserts etc having been installed. The rear of the chassis' are silkscreened as shown but the fronts are not, most likely because these were the latest run and intended for M60i versions (the M60i versions had an added 1/4" aluminum front faceplate that would have had the silkscreening); NOTE, FRONT FACEPLATES ARE NOT INCLUDED!. Please study the photos as they form a part of the description. Know what you are buying, no returns on these chassis/cage sets. AGAIN, THESE ARE THE CHASSIS, BASEPLATES, COVER CAGES, FILLER STRIPS, AND BARE PC-2 POWER SUPPLY BOARDS WITH IEC AC OUTLET AND FUSEHOLDER ONLY, NO OTHER ITEMS INCLUDED. Vintage Electron Inc. possesses the largest inventory of NOS Dynaco parts available anywhere in the world, having purchased both the remaining warehouse inventory of the old Sound Values/Stereo Cost Cutters Inc. (SV/SCC) operation as well as the remaining inventory of the old Dynaco National Service Center. SV/SCC was the company that purchased nearly 250,000 pounds of Dynaco parts when Dynaco closed it’s doors back in 1979; they also purchased the existing Hafler inventory from the Rockford Fosgate Corporation back in the early 1990‘s. Quantities of some parts (both Dynaco and Hafler) are very limited as can be expected. Vintage Electron Inc. has no affiliation with the old SV/SCC company and we do not provide repair services at this time for any of the Sound Valves brand products. Please visit our store and search under the Hafler section for additional Hafler items, search under the Dynaco section for Dynaco items, and search under the Sound Valves section for Sound Valves items.
